You won't see any rust or corrosion over time and just because you pay a little bit more today means you're probably going to save money in the long run since these will typically last longer.

Easier to clean - People have said that stainless steel appliances are easier to clean. I can agree because it's a lot easier to see all the spots on the dirt on the surface making it easier to wipe down. Not only that, when you're done cleaning them, you can usually tell just by the glow.

These are the three main reasons you should look into getting stainless steel appliances. They are going to look great no matter where you put it. They are going to last a lot longer helping you save money in the future and it will also be a lot easier to clean. Now, the older conventional appliances do have their upsides as well but if you're going to spend the money, I'd go this route.
